Latex on Antlers

Antler reproduction question. Latex 74 is the recommended latex of choice by Erich Carter on his DVD. Every supply catalog has it except for McKenzie. Because it can freeze and I wanna use an american express card I would like to order from McKenzie. They carry Molding Latex for a smaller price. Anyone ever use this for antlers? Is it an acceptable substitute? Anything to know?

I've made a lot of antler molds out of Mold Builder latex and that is my preference. The McKenzie latex works, as does Latex 74, I've used both. I just prefer the Mold Builder. They are all VERY similar products and they ALL will freeze, so based on your location, you better get whatever you need soon.

yeah I was thinking the same thing. I just finished failing so I am starting over. Thanks for the help on this your advice is very much appreciated.
