I'm on top of the dirt; how bad can it be?

« on: November 19, 2011, 10:55:35 AM »

a guy i buy a few snakes from here in eastern NM went to the barn on his day off to feed wearing nothing but shorts and flip flops. a WDB bit him in the calf. he tld me the total  emergency room bill his insurance company paid was around $544,000 and his part should have been $15,000. the hospital helped him get some financial aid to pay his share. just saying ; BE CAREFUL  out there.

Did ya mis-place a decimal perhaps?  That would be a significant ER stay there.

Manny Puig required 30 units of anti venom serum to save his life, and he still lost his finger.

Hmmm, sounds like I need to get into the anti venom bidness. Can't be too hard, but I sure as hell won't be wearing shorts and flipflops.

Goal of messing with hots: DON'T get bit.

Doh! Just remember the quote: play with fire & get burn by it! Maybe live by the sword, die by the sword! Or in this case, spend $$$$ Smiley
