rmillsap, you have 10 whole post, two of which show you to be a wise ass who likes to be pampered.  I'd suggest crocheting or herb gardens.  You see, I've been here for more years than you have posts and I suffer fools and spoiled brats badly. Unless divine providence or natural selection take over, I'll likely be here long after you're gone. You posted a bullship "fact" that iodine affected the function of salt - which it does not. Instead of being contrite for trying to teach a beginner a crap idea, you want to attack the messenger who called you out.  I'm VERY protective of beginners and when I find a post like yours, I'm going to make sure they aren't mislead. People like you are the ones who've distracted from the industry for years with misinformation and hearsay. If you don't know what the hell you're talking about, saying nothing would be exceptional advice to take for yourself.

George I have not attacked you or offered "bullship" facts. I have noticed that whenever your information is in question you personally attack. If what I have read here is your idea of teaching I am glad your a taxidermist.

Your wasting my time...

Me too.  I used to be a teacher and tired of babysitting spoiled brats like you.  BTW, if you think Wikipedia is such a viable source, perhaps you should use it intead of trying to interact with adults.

Thanks for answering my question everyone. Now that I know it doesn't matter what salt I use I wish I knew why the fox isn't tanning but it must be my fault somehow.  Oh well.

I think I know the problem now!!!  Never saw the SHAKE WELL up in the corner of the label till today, I just focused on the directions.  Oh    my    God.  Had to be pouring oil off the top! No wonder it seemed weak. What a bonehead. Go ahead laugh.

Funny thing about directions.  I use EZ 100 and was actually looking at the directions today and it says iodized or non iodized, does not matter.  I've just always used non iodized because that's what everyone says.
