thanks for supplying the pictures, they answer some questions of what a "live" Smiley dead bird looks like

? for you,  prior to the photo taking, was the duck's body restrained during transport ?
I usually carry a cloth transport bag for mount prospects and wondered if this was true of this bird.

it seems like the wings are more tightly formed to the body than any birds that I have gotten
perhaps my memory is poor
