I know some of you insensitive people are going to tell me to look in the archives.... well I don't have time to look in the archives, I need to know now the answer to this important question!


How do I rehydrate a wet tan???

MP- depends on the "wet tan" I had some from Golden State that flat would not rehydrate if they dried out.

I have to disagree!!!  You CAN rehydrate what is wet, To the point of saturation.  Wink

Wet tans are partially dried. I rehydrate with warm water and a few drops of laundry soap thru a spray bottle. Smiley

I just figured it was a Trick Question lol
Think of the source.................
The Commercial Wet tanns that I have mounted were never stretchy enough for me so What I do is soak them in some Sodium Bicarbinated water for a few minutes.............not long........... and then wash them in Dawn Dish washing soap..............this helps.............

Detergent!  Detergent darn it! 

Dawn is a Detergent, a surfactant as is Laundry detergent...Not a soap! 

There are differences!

Put it in the clothes dryer in high heat for 60 minutes

Now I understand WHY you need to "rehydrate"! Nice work, we can count on you to find a problem for every solution. LOL

On a more serious note. If you really do need to "rehydrate" a slightly dry "wet tan", just shampoo with Pert, rinse and spin dry. IN THE WASHER, not the DRYER!
