Canadian Taxidermists

hey there,
Just a quick question for all of you Canadians out there.
I was thinking of getting a working visa to visit your lovely country and work for a few years. I have been to taxidermy school and been working at another shop for a few months, i would barely call myself a
"professional" taxidermist... far from it. I was wondering on this industry in Canada? After being in the US a while most shops are small privately owned businesses, with maybe one extra worker for fleshing and doing all the horrible jobs.
Due to different game species and stuff in Canada would you think there would be a higher chance of being able to find some form of apprentiship/job experience?
Its only a very rough idea starting in my mind but i love taxidermy, i love learning new things, the person I work for now went to the same school as me, so we do things the same, id like to learn new processes of dealing with hides and mounting different animals.
This is not me asking for a job in Canada (although if anyone is looking PM me), i just want info on the industry and how easy/hard it might be for a foreigner trying to find a job, USA laws are pretty damm strict over here, took me over a year and a half to get the proper visa needed.
Thankyou for any info. Much Appreciated

Hey,
I too am just trying to get into taxidermy.
I live in Ontario Canada, and there is not much around in the way of schools or big taxidermy shops. There are alot of small private shops with people working out of their homes, or shops.
I am trying to learn on my own and this site has given me more info than anywhere else I have found. I havn't actually done anything yet other than read, read and read some more.
I will be attempting my first deer head, and fish this winter on my own.
Good Luck!
