hey guys i am new to all this and im working on squirrels for my first mounts. ive got a few for pratice and while skinnig my first one i couldnt get the feet out i had no trouble with the tail and slight trouble with the head since i messed this skin up i would just like to preserve the skin and try again on the next one, what is the best way to presrve the skin for just hanging up or something like that. i heard quite a  bit about dp but from my understanding it is just for mounting. like i said so im new s i dont know all of the taxidermy terms yet so please give feedback in begginners knwledge.

If I were mounting the squirrel, I would use dp.  If you are planning to do a pelt/rug style thing, you need to tan it.  EZ 100 makes soft hides.
