I am using Tru Bond's submersible for the first time, the directions call for 2 1/2 gallons for a deer hide but I am tanning a skunk and only need 1 to 1 1/2 gallons. Do I still use the same amount of powder per dry weight even though I am using less water? The hide only weighed 12 oz so I had planned on using 1/2 pound of salt, .75 oz of permatan for 1 gallon of water. Just wanted to try it to compare it to the brush on.
