It is 25% hydrochloric acid.  While it could be used to pickle, it is not the best choice.

The fact that worries me is that you do not know what it is..therefore you must not know that it is volatile, i.e. gives off nasty fumes..

Try the MSDS:

then look for something a bit safer for you..

Baking soda is sodium bicarbonate. They are one and the same...

Re-hydrate! It is an important step.

Ok I guess I wont use it I knew it contained Hcl, but was not sure if that was bad. I usually use safe-tee acid so i guess i will stick with that.
