Pickle question with citric acid

Ive never used citric acid but is it the same formula as saftee? 1lbs of salt per gallon of water and .5 oz of acid? What mixture should i use?

Citric is generally and I've only seen it in a powder form to where saftee acid comes in a liquid. I don't use any formals oer say but measure the salt content with a salimeter and then the acid with Ph strips. The formula is a general start but always check it with a meter and Ph strips.

OK i have pH strips to measure the acid, but should i just use 1lbs of salt per gallon because I don't have a salt meter.
