Hey guys, I'm new into taxidermy and pretty new to this forum also......wondering if you guys had any ideas to take the smell away?.......A guy from Church asked me if i could tan a bear hide for him, i said I'd give it a shot......he brought it too me, he shot the bear in 1986 and skinned and somewhat fleshed the bear and froze it......He had it in 9 garbage bags, i couldn't believe it was still good.  i ended up salting it fleshing and tanning it, but it still smells pretty good.  Any ideas would be very helpful, I'm not on the innernet very often, but i will try to check it as often as i can, thank you very much
