The other good thing about the fat zap is that it's about an inch wide.  Get a sewing machine motor they are not that expensive.  He is right about not being good for turkeys, but it is great for ducks!

I think faster speed =less burn thru.  Would like to see what speed motor Brad has for his fat zap.

I beleive I am running around 5600 to 6000. I don't have a variable speed motor, that sewing machine motor sound like a great option.

I just got the fat zap wheel about a month ago, i really like it as well. Not sure of my rpm's, i will check. Zapped  2 woodies and a mallard last week with no holes, I really like the width of the wheel.
