I was told sometime ago that Citric Acid (along with some other stuff) can make a pickle bath for tanning skins.

I've been searching for half an hour now, can't find that post, so I wanna know what it was again that you mix with Citric Acid (powder form), to make a pickle bath for (hair-on) skins.

3 oz citric acid and 1 lb salt per gallon.

Cheers, tho it looks like I may need more citric acid. Only got a small 50g box (Chemist wouldn't sell me anything more than that for some reason..)
