Citric Acid soak times?
«

I am using Citric acid for the first time and I am wondering why the directions say you only have to soak the skin for 24hours before shaving while my last acid )safety acid) has a 3 day soak before shaving? Is citric a better acid?
Also I made a couple false cuts while shaving. Do I need to cut these out and sew the hole or will the hair be fine?

This time of year, 24hrs aint gonna work. Its too cold.
24 hours would be a bare minimum, with a near perfectly complete rehydration, and a warm pickle.
It will take a few days in cold water, for sure.
You should NEVER attempt to shave a skin that isnt throughly pickled.
