Thanks Martin,

They are for a husband/wife team, who both love hunting Africa. They are in Central African Republic right now, and I just got word that the wife got a beautiful Bongo! She wants it lifesized, and if they both get one, they want them together on one base.  I don't know how I am going to have the patients to wait the year it will take to get my hands on them. Can't wait!

for you, Lorenzo  Wink

Roan I did a while back, Cape was badly cutted, missed both front leg parts to have a nice shoulder mount, but finally the result as pedestal isn´t that bad..  Smiley

Hi all,

Firstly, thank you Lorenzo for taking over the thread.

Secondly, beautiful sable combination and great specimens to top it off! The Roan is equally beautiful, its a pity about the cuts but you made it work and the result is awesome!

Thirdly thank you for the compliments, I have been busy working on some stuff, I know 3 of you have already seen my latest sculpture on Facebook but for those who haven't, here it is. A Cape grysbok. I didnot how ever create this from nothing unfortunately. We bought a form from another company as we did not have a skeleton or body cast of one since they are so rare. I can assure you that is looks very different to the original, incorrect one I had received. There was alot of work needed to get him accurate like the legs, position, anatomy, girth, neck and a new head sculpted on a skull. What can you do when resources are slim and time is short? anyways, I am in the process of sculpting a Caracal from a skeleton I am putting together. Love working on the cats!

Kind regards to all and I hope to see more beautiful work in this thread.
Travman
