Well, actually it got destroyed during the cleaning process, so I had to rebuild it with brass wire and then paint it white

Vkvz, I join the others in praise of this skeleton, a great piece of art!

If you want to add an Australia predator you're right there aren't many of those available in Europe. However, there are two predatory birds that are native to both Europe ansd Australia: the black kite (Milvus migrans) and the peregrine falcon (Falco peregrinus). Maybe you can use one of those, especially the kite is rather common in France I believe.

Thanks Wouter! And actually when I checked for potential predators and I saw the birds, I immediately thought about you!  

And Jean-Christophe, your idea is pretty clever as well!
For now it'll go in it's own display case, but might take it out for a bigger project if I find the right specimens.

You don't have a couple of 8 meter saltwater crocs in the freezer?!

Seriously, just a brown rat could work out neath I think, not too big so it's easy to work on, no hassle with laws and easy to store later on.
