That really IS good reference. The skin looks like post hibernation. I've seen bears with a lot of hair missing at that stage but nothing like this. If I recall, it's caused by "den mites" that do what dermistids do to mounts. I'm told the hair grows back. Do you know where the pictures came from Rhasputin?
