hair-on raccoon hide tanned with Lutan-F and oiled with WASCO Soft Tan, now is completely dry. isn't going to be mounted. would i be able to wash this without messing up the tan or the oil? if so, how would i do this? would i have to smoke it 1st to waterproof it?
THANKS!

A quick wash with a mild soap won't hurt it, just don't wash it long enough to rehydrate the skin and you'll be fine.
