What do you guys use to keep the peroxide off the base of antlers? I had been using press and seal cling wrap and tape with good success-up till now anyways and had some leak throughs.  Been cleaning with beatlesa few yrs and finally getting paying customers (about 10-11 this year).  I tried searching but didnt get much.  Pretty cool forum here with lots to read!!  Thanks for any help

I have tried silicone, but its about as much work to get it off as just staining when done.

I use silicone, the secrete is to goop it on thick, then it peels off in one or 2 pieces

I wrap the antler bases in plastic wrap.  Most of the time it works.

I use silicone or paint with water based acrylics if I don't use the silicone.
