What would be a good tan to use for a bear rug?  I want to try my hand at doing bear rug in house. Thanks in advance.

Trubond 1000B is supposed to be real good. I havent tried it myself but its on my agaenda to do this spring when the weather is nicer and i can get outside my shop for a little more room.

I know you are asking about the tan used, but proper degreasing and pickling is going to be more important than the choice of tan, just a heads up.
