I am wanting to try my hand at a bear rug. I did not ask the right questions in my earlier post. What would be a good pickle and tan for a in house tan for a black bear?

Thanks,
Jim

Jim that's a trick question. Any professional is going to tell you: NONE! Send your hide out and have it professionally soft tanned.
