One tough Bull Elk

A Bull Elk that a hunter shot in the Black Hills during the 2011 rifle season.
The taxidermist found a big surprise when he caped it out. That had to hurt for a while!!

I hear ya. The article said he was a healthy bull,with the exception of that left eye. They figured the injury was 1-2 years old. The hide was completely healed over.

If you are serious,,,,,,,, It looks to me like the tip of a G-4 or G-5 from another elk.
