When i have to many cap in the same big bucket ... like a big garbage on roll ...

I have problem only when the inside skin touch another inside skin ... , the skin stay pink and some time slippage after that ... if i dont see it at time ..

So i want to know , to see , how the pro made it ... for have a good production ..

I thinking to take a tub but like 48 x 24 x 6h, and a stainless stell on it for keep the skin under ...

 how to do 10 cap at time ..

ok not sure here if I understand but will try to help, maybe. If your talking about pickling a hide they should not be rolled up in the solution your soaking it in.

Plastic totes for your tub. If 10 are crowded, & they will be, mix up 2 or more.agitate a couple times daily they DONThave to be underwater.

Stef, like Bill said, maybe just cut back on the number of skins and stir more. What we do is put the capes in a paddle vat so they get a lot of agitation as soon as they go into the pickle, but that's not feasible for you to do in shop. After your skins have been in the pickle for a day or so you won't need to stir as much.

As i understand , the more cretical time it the firsts hours in the pickling ... after the pickling touch every where , we can stop agitate ...

Toujours avoir beaucoup de place pour les peaux pour obtenir une couverture complète du bain d'acide, toujours agiter souvent tout au long du processus. Pour beaucoup de caps à de petits d'un bain de va tirer l'acide du bain et glisser la cause, vous voulez avoir au moins cinq gallons d'acide par le Cap de garder l'acide à un pH faible.

Good french , i keep my acide in a 45-55 gallon, the problem it the hide float on it ... i make a stand, form in steinless , i put the face of the deer on it, fresh side outside. When i have more of 6 hide in it, the fresh side of one touch the fresh side of another one....

J'utilise un traducteur, oui, ils flottent. Un tambour est encombré et exigu pour plus de trois caps. Si vous pouvez trouver un réservoir qui est large et peu profonde, comme une piscine pour enfant, puis les caps de la place de flotter.

I suggested him to use something different than a 55 gallon drum if he was going to tan 6 capes at a time, he needs a wide cattle tank, of a kiddy pool so the capes are not cramped or knotted up in a drum.
