Thanks to Psycho

Just wanted to say thanks to Psycho (Dan), Justin P, and Aubrey Young for their help in getting me started on my first alligators (heads) Wasn't sure exactly how much work they were going to be when I took them in but I sure do know now. Dan has answered all my questions and Justin helped out when ordering the tanning supplies and he also refered me to Mr. Young who also helped answer some questions I had. Here are a few pics of the mounted heads drying. Three of them want wall mounts and one wants a table mount. The guys that want the wall mounts want them hanging at a 45 degree angle so the heads can be seen better up on the wall. Does anyone have any photos of ones they have done like that and would be willing to share pics.
Thanks again
I'll post some pics when I get them finished as well.

I forgot to also Thank Tom Voyer for his willingness to share his expertise through the videos. I haven't actually talked to him but his videos were a great teaching tool that made getting these critters heads cleaned out and mounted a lot easier than it would have been had I tried to just wing it.

I had the pleasure of working with Dan. He is a great teacher with a good sense of humor. Just keep the turtle necks away from him.

LOL Ralph tell the truth. You'll have people thinking I'm a nice guy and that would ruin my reputation.

Smells funny- yes. nice guy- ummm, well... yes. Wuv him- uh huh! He's such a tweetie!
And an amazing reptile man always willing to help out. He fully expects you to do your part- which is for the best!- but is always willing to give a hand or helping word. He truly is an assett to our industry.
As is Tommy Voyer. Having worked with both of them in person they are both awesome. Huge wealths of knowledge.

In the seminar last year we had a studant that was under the weather to say the least. Dan spent tons of extra time with him. Dans neighbor came to see him while he was teaching the class. I got the straight scoop from her about Dan. So don't let the gruff exterior fool you Dan is a softy.
Ralph
PS I'm surprised no one asked what was going on with the turtle neck.
