He looks awesome...and kinda like he cocking his leg to fart...but I'm sure no one else would think that...
I've never seen one of these guys, but I don't doubt they all stand that way. Love the base - simple and balanced.

Nice job, we shot a banded hoodie this fall here in Michigan, it was banded in Missouri in 2006, it was a very nice bird, my son will be happy when I get it finished.

Friend of mine shot a banded hen down here in southern Louisiana. We don't see many bands around here. I have a couple hoodys to do I hope they come out alright. Any advice? My second bird was a hoody and I didn't know what to do with all the neck skin. I've had a lot of practice since then though.

Friend of mine is a biologist in south Louisiana. They band quite a few hoodies using the Woodduck boxes for nesting.

To me it looks unbalanced, the pulled up foot is up too far, and unnatural, but I'm sure the customer won't know it. Other than that looks pretty good. Check out reference of a duck on a rock, they'll have one foot centered in the middle of their breast, and they'll be level. They are a pretty duck.

I think it looks really nice. I also agree with turkey jim that the birds back should be level.
