Krotan question
«
on:
January 17, 2012, 11:18:03 AM »
I am getting ready to change over to Krotan tanning. I have seen this done two ways..... I have seen instructions that say to put in pickle solution for 3-4 days and then ready to freeze or mount. I have also seen it in pickle solution for 3-4 days and then brush on tan leave on 4 for hours and the ready to freeze or mount. What is the best way so that I will know what to order. Thank you in advance for your info.

The brush on your talking about is the oil. The oil gives it more stretch. It is ready to mount without the oil but it definitely doesn't hurt to put it on.

Okay. Thank you. That makes sense. And where is the cheapest place you have found to buy it?
