Ok guys I am trying to tan a timbler rattler for my first mount,It measured whole at 36 '' I bought a dvd by Tom Voyer and watched it so after skinning it out, I used snaketan to tan it it feels pretty good like I got a good tan but now the skin is almost 4 ft. long will it still fit on a 36 '' form ? do i need to bunch it up or should i measure the skin after tanned? thank you in advance.   Jim

Always measure the snake before skinning.  Snake skins stretch and when mounting you will have start taxiing the skin up and forward to get all the scales aligned.  It will go back together the same way it came off at 36".  Scale alignment should be both horizontal and diagnal.
