Stupid guestion time. The skull of a mouse is made of bone correct? Me and my mother-in-law were having words about it.

I'm sorry? Question was: does MAMMAL head contain skull? Does your Mother-in-law think that MOUSE is a invertebrate?! Vertebrate means BONES. BONES means whole skeleton and whole skeleton means SKULL which is actually a BONE made of several BONES!

Don't worry about it being a stupid question. My dad didn't believe mice had bones either until I showed him xD

How do you guys put the jaw back in with little skulls like squirrrels what substance do you use

It's just like fitting the jaw to the skull of a yote, except it's smaller and alittle more fidgety, especially for things as small as mice, or smaller, like shrews. The mouse, rat and gerbil have had their bottom jaws glued to the skull to prevent loosing the jaws. I used wood glue on all of them, its strong and dries transparently, also really safe, if you get it on your hands it just peels off like dead skin
