Order some dextrin, high fiber and whiteing and make your own or use some of the other hide paste formulas the guys have on here. One of them is using some glue you can get at Sherwin Williams paint stores and mixing with dextrin or I believe just using it straight. I'm sure some others will let you know what they use. I just use the same hide paste I make up for deer and works great for me.

I use white lightning painters preferred caulking for my fish.  I use borax a ton in my skinning/fleshing/tanning process and never have any issues.....

I always soak fish skins in borax and from years of experience I can recommend the following brands of caulk. 1) Rely-On made by DAP.  2) Mainstays..cheapest sold by Wal-Mart. 3) Color Place...replacement for Mainstays...sold at Wal-Mart. None of those 3 will react with borax. Good luck.

Fish often, leave the barbs on, keep some to eat or mount, and apologize to no one.
