Hello, I'm into bones and skeletons but think here could be a place to ask it.
I was given some fish head to do their skulls. Heads comes from an African fisherman. There is a "barracuda" (
Syphraena sp). I'm thinking of the great barracuda (
Sphyraena barracuda) of course and of
Sphyraena afra or maybe an other one ? Head is around 30 cm long.
Anyone could help ? I really care of what (ID) I'm working on.
Second one is a Scombridae (quite sure of it because bones are close to the tuna skull I have). Maybe
Scomberomorus maculatus ? Head was around 10 cm long and have quite big sharp teeth.
Again any help would be welcome
