HELP!! SKIN MOUNT SALMON REPAIR

Hey fellas,

Got a friend of mine who's wife caught a salmon with a fly rod years ago ( back before repro's were around and everything were skin mounts)...the other weekend she was cleaning their game room and knocked it off the wall...it fell straight down to the floor.  The fish dosent have terrible damage, most of it are cracks and chips that can be fixed with some filler and airbrushing.  However , all of the bottom swimmer fins have been crushed and basicly crinkled and im just not sure how to repair this?  They have all lost their natural shape and he wants it to look natural again...new artificial fins?  any advice from the fish masters would be greatly appreciated.

Call Lake Country Fish Replicas...in this forum go to suppliers on the front page of this web site and when prompted click on fiberglass fish replicas. I had the same problem but with a striper. And he was more than happy to help out. His fins are clear and reasl thin. You may want to replace all of the fins...and if it was me...I would be replacing that head to. But that's me. Good luck.
