im new to here as you may have seen my post about the fox, but ive always wanted to get into taxidermy tanned alot of furs over the past 3 yrs or so and got quit good. ive made a few coon skin hats that i sold at the flea market, really artistic and like challeneges. im still reading alot about mounting lizesize but no where really gives you instructions, im thinking about a coon shoulder mount for me to practice on since it wouldnt be a full life size and if i mess up..its not a fox of something real real nice. what i need help on is what all do i need? i know eyes ears nose? what else. im also tring to have the taxidermist that is mounting my fox let me try a fox by her side if i pay for everything but the labor. so she can guide me through it, i dont care if my 1st one isnt a mona lisa, its something i did and id be proud, because i know id do a fine job at it, always done good art work. from painting to pottery sculpting. ive got a McKenzie catalog that i always browse through telling my self i should try this at least once. what products would i need as far as glue and chemicals? thanks for helping the new guy

I would get the breakthrough mammal manual and a video for the type of mount you are thinking of.
Then worry about the supplies. You'll have your answers then.
