Crazy Crab

Hello again,

I realize that this is not a reptile, but I have the chance to work on a very old crab and wanted to see what your opinions and approaches would be. 

My instinct is to stabilize, sculpt and paint the hell out of this thing.  Apparently it is over 100 and was a gift from Japan. 

Please let me know if this is a money pit or simply a long week worth of work.

what a beat up spider crab.....why not fix it....i would dis-joint all the leg parts and sculp the parts missing and make a repoduction...this crab for its age , has to be very brittle.i have a small one 2 feet across...maybe you should re-post in the fish section
