I'm going to have to invest in a few DVD's for now.  Can't find any classes around me, lol.  That and I'll just keep lurking around the forum.  Too bad there isn't a mini course anywhere near me!  I searched taxidermy at both local university's, and came up with nothing.

65 miles from you, Bill Yox, Brockport NY. Your not looking very hard.

I looked in the schools section on this site, and also at what my local university's offer.  All I can come up with is schools that charge more than eight thousand dollars.  It's just a hobby I plan on doing.  I don't have that kind of money either, I'm a stay at home Mom.

It's the Taxidermy Mini-Course from Thursday afternoon to Saturday mid-day every spring.  Dates are 17-19 May and more info will be posted here as it gets closer to registration time: http://www.surry.edu/taxidermy/mini-course.html  Without a doubt the best three days for the price you will get anywhere.  And if you can get something mounted by then and compete in the Amateur class that's a bonus!
