New Showroom progress
«
on:
January 22, 2012, 01:33:00 PM »
I few of my buds on here know I have been building my new facility since February of last year and have been asking for photos of our show room progress..... so I figured I would just post them here. It has really been a dream come true to finally be building my shop the way I want it rather then retro fitting yet another excising building.
In April I have one of my muralest buddies coming down from NY and we will be building in a large habitat around the elephant that will go from wall to wall off the front of the excising base, complete with a large mural behind it. The large diorama areas up on the wall will be getting habitat and murals as well. The one above the elephant pedestal still needs the radius's to be framed and the sheet rock hung. (which is always fun on a wall with no strait edges.)
Still have to Acid stain the concrete floors and furnish it. A local upholster friend of mine is making me leather chairs out of cape buff and elephant leather.
It is going to be a work in progress for some years to come.
And here is a shot look out of the front door and in from the driveway. come spring I will be pouring concrete on the porch ans installing some landscaping.. and still fighting with the county over signage...

You out did yourself Mike!!! Your entrance is going to really set the stage for clients entering the showroom. You have all the pens out there now? I need to make a visit and take it all in.
