Thanks for the comments, but it wouldn't have worked without the great advice from all who provided suggestions.  I really appreciate it (and so did the client when he picked it up).

That looks great!  Should deffinatly pass the 6' test. 

Color Phase bears are usually a little more tricky because they very in color so much.  Finding an exact match for a transplat is difficult.  I always keep my larger scraps from trimming rugs for just such occations.
