maybe you need to ID it Clew.....then you can Google it.....most likely a Grey Trigger fish, but I could be wrong.....make sure you use 2002 if you need to strip it.....seems all fish taxidermists now use that....GLTY

No problem, good luck with it Clew. I always love trigger fish had about every species growing up... those fish cost me allot of paper route money with the amount of guppy's I had to feed them. and frozen brim shrimp. lol.. Make me want to set a reef tank up again
I've done some extensive diving and the Queen trigger is a beauty, seen them almost pulse in color.... changes yellow to gold to silver green in belly and blue to purple black vent..

Do the colors vary because of the time of year, or spawning?
I always thought that those colors by photographers were enhanced
For their brilliance
Really cool fish
Ordered blank today

I'm no biologist. But color has to do with a ton of things..
Food source. Enviroment there living. Water color and temp. Mood they are in.. I've had tigger turn almost bone white when stressed moving out of a tank.. And I'm sure a little fish romance could change there color too.
. Either way good luck I'm sure u'll nock it out of the park!
