polymer tooling distributes a variety of products. I purchase SI products like GI1100 and 1000 from them.

When everyone talks about Silicones Inc. material they always reference G1100. To me, it's a very narrow reference to 1 silicone type. I am sure Silcones Inc has more than 1 rubber type. I can also tell you Smooth-On has MANY types of silicones to choose from. I think you need to explore your application and then dial in the silicone that you need to use. Ask yourself some questions: How long to I want the mold to last? How many casts do I want to get out of the mold? Do I want a tin or platinum based silicone? What is my desired pot life and demold time on the silicone? What is my budget? What strength properties am I looking for? Am I doing a block mold or am I doing a thin walled mold with a support shell? What quantity of silicone do I need (reference the previous question)? Answer these questions and then call a person with application knowledge. Call SI. Call Smooth-On. Or, call someone that has product knowledge. Then you can make a decision on the product that fits your application.
