How much weight does a whole animal lose in the freezer? The reason i ask is i caught a fisher on nov.26 and it was 16-17lbs on my scale. When i shipped it last week it only was 12lbs. So do they lose that much or is my scale way off ?

Sounds like a scale problem, but hell you saved money on the shipping. Just hope you didn't tell the person you shipped it to that it was a 16-17 pounder.

Sounds like a great scale to have in a taxidermy shop. Those 4 pound bass will become 6 pounders.

Well there is some good news--- i dont weigh as much as i thought !!!!!!!! And its still the biggest fisher i've ever caught
