JKelly, who was the outfitter? I just got back from an  Aoudad hunt, and now I'm hooked! I'm definitely considering another hunt next winter, and that looks like a hot area.

No wonder you can't get the work done Jim, your always hunting. Just kidding, congrads on the hunt with your Daughter. Unfortunately with exotics, what you see out there is about all there is with forms. Maybe, check into a Sable form, they look like they share some features.

McKenzie has sev big forms, but the best looking face in my opinion is Jetz, Check out there web site , they have several sizes and styles to choose from. The problem I've had is finding a quality form in the real small sizes?  Good Luck

We've hunted with Jason Sullivan in the Pinto Canyon. It is privately owned and is 100 % free-range. It is not the cheapest or the easiest place to kill a ram. I think the property is 10 miles by 10 miles and it takes almost 3 1/2 hours to get from one side to the other. The last time I hunted there I did not kill a ram, we just weren't seeing any good ones. Of the nine rams we have killed over the years we have only killed one that was under 30 inches and my friend shot one that was an honest 34 1/2 with huge bases. Another guide to look into is Bubba Glossen, he also kills some huge, slob rams in the same area. Not much truck hunting, be ready to walk and climb for most of the day!! I think a few of the mountains we hunt, top out at around 6500-7000 ft. If you need any more info PM me and I'll pass it along.

Awesome looking stuff!!!!

Question for you guys.  Sorry for the hijack though looks like there is a bit of a side-angle going already on this one.

I'm headed down to El Paso area to hunt Aoudads this March.  I will be needing a taxidermist (close) to handle cape/horns and ship it back to me up north when I get CITES for export out of the USA.  Most likely I'll have them shipped to Idaho and clear them across the border myself to save hassles of international shipping, etc.

I'd like a reputable taxidermist who can handle Aoudad capes and could tan the cape for me to save some time and make it easier for shipping, border clearance, etc after CITES is done.  Any suggestions in the area?  Toss me a PM if you've got any suggestions.
