Looks like an immature blue phase snow goose to me. We see a lot of them on the Louisiana coast. Might be slightly darker than normal as the immature color phase varies greatly.

Yup! I agree immature Blue Phase of Lesser Snow Goose. Seen a ton of them. Maybe a little darker but definately a baby Blue.

Darker than average, but I also think that it's a baby blue goose.
The tail, in particular, really looks like the mass of pinfeathers that would be typical on a young bird.
