congrats on finishing your first mount im no expert but the first thing i notice is the ear my opinion is that they are to low and ear bases are off was you using bondo? reference reference cant be said enough hair pattern may be off though im still learning myself keep it up and good luck ~Cook

Your paint job is really harsh,to much tooling , and you need to clean the over spray off the eye, ear but has no shape and its on the back of the neck, ear is not rotated like it should be. You need to get some good reference...

For one of your first deer mounts it is not bad. You need to get some better reference for better hair patterns ,eye detail and ear positioning. When you look at the references look at small parts of the reference and not the whole picture. Breaking it down to small parts helps to focus on better detail.

your work shows plenty of room for improvement however in my opinion you do have talent and with time you will produce some really nice work. This is one of the best newbie mounts I have seen, good job!
