Just wanted to throw this out there in case someone's been down this road before.
My very first mount was a mink for my step son. I used a Rinehart small mammal mounting kit, dry preserved.
Over the years, it has really bleached out. Is there any practical way to color the fur? I don't know if I dare make it really wet to try hair color from the beauty shop, but it might work.

Just a thought here, turn it over and try s hair dye on the underside. That way you could play with it a little and if it didnt work so good at least it wouldnt be seen. Maybe just for men beard dye?

you can dye it using alcohol instead of water then blow drying it right away
