I looked but can't find the answer. I just poured some 2 part urethane foam and like always made a little two much. Is ok to put the extra, once cured and set, in with the beetles? Just want to make sure. Thanks

Urethane foam may contain formaldehyde and would be toxic to beetles.

If there is anyplace near you that sells stereo equipment or electronics. check the dumpster behind those places. I have always found chunks of good, clean Styrofoam there.

LOL Toxic, how do your beetles survive anyway with you around?  Smiley Got a special breed?

I think the gas left in the urethane is poisonous yes, it is advised for taxidermists to cut and carve it in a ventilated place. Don't think the beetles are going to like it therefore.
