fishers open mouth question

i have a question about a fisher i mounted. first off im new to the whole taxidermy thing. So i mounted a fisher that i trapped walking down a rock/ log with its mouth open. overall im happy with it consider the major form alteration that i had to make. way over my head for a beginner i think, but anyway. the jaw set it not right. the upper and lower k-9s are off. one side they are close and the other side there is more of a space between the top and bottom. its not much but you can see it!!!! now i had to pretty much make a whole new lower jaw on the form so i think the form itself can move. just wondering if anyone had any tips on how to fix it.
will rehydrating the lower jaw work then try to twist it to get them equal distances apart???

Without seeing a picture of what you're talking about it's impossible to advise you how to fix. JL

Just work loose whichever jawset (top, bottom, or both!) seems to be out of line with the other, shim till it's right.
