I put this on a few other post but I guess sometimes we have to say "The customer is always right!".  LOL!!  By that I mean when several customer come into my shop they mention something about a huge next followed by a look at this pic.  I have to explain that is a picture of a dead deer.  The neck is all collapsed and twisted up for the Hall of Fame picture album.  Most are willing to listen but still want some form of large neck which I will provide without sacrificing the integrity of the stitches or the mount itself.

I guess I'm just trying to educate them on what a deer looks like that is alive!  Here's something I do because I got tired of fighting it.   As we know, putting the white in the back of both eyes  can be a big NO NO.  Try a mount by putting the white in the front corner of one eye and the back of the other depending on the turn.  I know you already do this with no problems.......I can't for some stupid reason.   Some customers will look at you like you are crazy.  It' looks odd to them, not natural like it actually is.  So, even though I know it's wrong, I put the white in the back of both eyes and haven't received one complaint.  Do it the other way and I will hear about it.   Wouldn't dare do that on a competition mount if I still competed though.

I like the 6900 and the customers I've had so far like it as well.   So for commercial work......thumbs up!

George I had the same thoughts on the neck...the off side of the turn (to me) is too big at the top. I rasped it down about 3/8 to 1/2 inch and was satisfied with it. The brisket and face are nice to work with.

Overall I really like the form.

Many of the Mcs are that way; seems they are showing a contracted muscle on the elongated side while the contracted side isn't built. Opposite of what it should be.
