I think they look nice. Your neighbor should be very happy. That's great that you and your son both worked on the perch.

Fish often, leave the barbs on, keep some to eat or mount, and apologize to no one.

Nice work....
Did you work on the paint schemes together or separate?
I liked the brighter orange fins, but that's just my pref.....
All in all, I believe they are going to make a very happy customer and that's what counts....... Grin

I like the black bar pattern, it really shows up, but yet they are somewhat transparent. Did u steel wool over them? My only suggestions would be maybe a little more yellow on the sides, the orange on the fins looked a little hot maybe try to mist lightly at an angle, and the tails and the pectoral fin on the rear fish could use a little color. All in all they look pretty good though, I have seen full time taxidermists not even come close!

Are those two perch in TMIFP's yours?

Ya they are. Do you have a critique? They are not customer fish I freeze dried them kind of as an experiment to try out a different technique, was not really pleased with how the bellies turned out and sold them on e-bay. Now I actually cast them and pack the bellies with machae then freeze dry them, before the ones in the pic I was skin mounting on a foam body.

No.....the TMIFP fish are "critique free". I was just curious if they were yours and what you thought about them seeing as you had some advice for Skunk. I was thinking maybe someone else did your perch as the Walleye is quite good..........

Thanks for the compliment on the walleye. We do a lot of those up here. Just curious though what you thought of the paint job on my perch?
