Krowtann Mistake...will it hurt anything?

So far I've followed all instructions on the bottle and I just pulled my hide out to neutralize it an the directions said wash in clean water then neutralize the cape with with baking soda for 15 minutes and then wash with tide....I did the steps wrong and first washed the cape in clean water, then washed with tide, and then put the cape in water with baking soda. Will this hurt anything by doing them out of order?

Krowtann directions are easy and basic, next time take a minute and read and follow.  Hope you dont ruin your hide.

Don't mind Troy, mistakes happen.  It should be fine.  You just need to neutralize shortly after the acid to keep the acid from eating the fur over time.

Thanks, I just went ahead an followed threw with it an neutralized like you said, and all seems fine so far. Appreciate the help

Your cape will be fine.  I always have to neutralize the hides much longer (2-3x longer) than it says before I can get any stretch at all.  Does anyone else have this problem?

i always seem to get a good stretch when I'm done with all the proses. i just do what it says.
