So I got an unusual request from the owner of a tattoo parlor.  He wanted a black goat head on a pentagram in the tradition of a Satanic Goat (he assured me that he is not a Satanist).  I have a plasma cutter making me a metal pentagram with a silver finish.  I suggested the albino eyes, and the upside down cross after looking at some pictures of Satanic Goats.  I got the goat as a black and white and dyed him midnight black.

This is my first work without a form.  I used the skull (no lower jaw) as the base and used clay to add the muscles.  It is also my first non predator.  I know the eyes aren't perfect, I did my best.

Black fur is hard to photo!  There is a lot more detail in the eye lids and such that doesn't show.

I think he's cool looking.  Not something I'd want on my wall though,  kind of creepy, lol.

Great Dye Job!   Love it!  Not bad at all for your first goat.

Not something I'd put on my wall either, but I'd put it in a tattoo parlor. Smiley

Thanks to Clairol for the dye job!

Thanks!  Goat are not easy, they kinda look weird to begin with!

Oh man, that looks awesome. I think the albino eyes are a great touch. Making forms is pretty tricky, but I think you nailed it.

I'm sure your friend will love it.

Thanks!  I've had so much fun with this.  My hope is that having it up in the tattoo shop will help me get more rouge work, which is my fav.

I can't wait to get the metal pentagram to put him on.

Also does anyone have a suggestion for what I should put on the horns to keep them nice and shiny?

Now we're talkin'! My husband says that he wants one of those in his tattoo parlor! (lol)
Wicked awesome. I like the idea of using a real skull and building.. seems like a good way to get the right-sized form. (although part of me gets mad b/c I collect skulls too, lol.)

What's the deal with the pins in the ears ears? Are there liners in them?

Yeah I'm doing my first gamehead as a baby black goat I got from Shelby for a similar type project. Only this one is more personal since my BF and I are huge metalheads, so we'll have it on our own wall instead. I'd like to see the pentagram, sounds cool, and the inverted cross is a great touch. Ours will be more traditional and just mounted on a plaque probably, and a full cape.

There are some things that you should say no too.  That was one of them in my opinion.  Looks like you did a good job, especially dying the hair.

I'd love to try one of Shelby's goat kids, but not so sure I'm up to making a head with nothing to go off just yet. ( aka no skull or idea of its original shape!)
