I would like to attach pea gravel to a wood pedestal base and was wondering what may work.  I would also like to give a "wet" look to the pea gravel and was wondering what to use for that as well?  Thanks!

I've used a thin epoxy resin to do that. Mix the resin, throw in your rocks and mix well, then scoop them out onto your base. The resin will make the rocks look wet, and also hold them together permanently. Smiley

I simply use a wood glue like tite bond.  Pour it on and add the rocks or gravel or sand.  Dries clear and then i will cover it with a high gloss laquer.  Looks wet and easy to clean the dust off the mount down the road.

Sorta similar. I just lay a decent layer of Elmer's glue and and the rocks. I usually do artificial though, but I'm sure it would work on pea gravel as well. Then after dry, a litght gloss to the rocks. Although I do find Rhasputin's method worth trying. Kills two birds with one stone so to speak...

Just curious with you "resin guys". Doesn't that stuff attract dust like a magnet or is it not like Polyestor resin??? I know the latter you pretty much have to encase things due to dust and the inability to get it off. I've never used Envirotex, but isn't this the same stuff you make water from? (Which attracts dust???)
